Sivan Metzger – CEO

Sivan brings close to 20 years of experience in enterprise software, and leverages his background to help companies successfully take Machine Learning into Production with ParallelM. Prior to ParallelM, he founded and served as GM of two business units, Kenshoo Social and Kenshoo Local, at Kenshoo, Inc., an enterprise software company for leading online marketers. Prior to Kenshoo, Sivan spent close to a decade at Mercury Interactive, prior to its acquisition by HP in 2006, where he held numerous business and product leadership roles across the company.

Michal Kirshner – Finance & Operations

Michal brings extensive hands-on experience in all aspects of financial management, executive responsibility in accounting, taxation, and budget planning procedures for Global and US companies to her role at ParallelM. Before joining ParallelM, Michal served as Director of Finance for several High-Tech companies during which she was involved in all financial and legal aspects, including overseeing the global accounting function, managed revenue recognition and due diligence process. Michal also worked as an Experienced Senior at BDO USA, LLP in New York City, where she specialized in the audit of private and public companies.

Michal holds an MBA with a major in Finance from the Executive Program at IDC Israel, as well as a B.A. degree in Accounting and Management. She is a Certified Public Accountant.

Dave Roberts – Sales

Dave has over 20 years of experience of demonstrated success in leading sales teams in the B2B IT industry. Prior to ParallelM, Dave was a VP of Sales for Import.io where he produced triple-digit growth in the first year, and built both the sales and support teams. Before that, he led sales teams at Boundary, ScienceLogic, and Nimsoft until its acquisition by CA Technologies.

Dan Darnell – Product and Marketing

Dan is a seasoned veteran of the enterprise application and ML application space with over 18 years of experience in product management and product marketing for enterprise software from CRM to multivariate testing, real-time personalization, and machine learning platforms. Before ParallelM, he held various senior roles including as the Product and Marketing Executive at Baynote, a leading real-time personalization platform where he was a member of the executive team that relaunched and sold the company in 2016. Dan has also worked in product management and product marketing roles at H20.ai, Talend, Adchemy, Interwoven, Oracle and Siebel Systems.

Lior Amar – Development

Lior Amar is the development leader at ParallelM where he is responsible for MCenter platform. He is an expert with 20 years’ experience in distributed systems development, low-level system programming and HPC cluster management / Linux systems. Before joining ParallelM, Lior was a government researcher working on high-performance computing (HPC). Before that, he was the Founder and CTO of Cluster Logic, a distributed systems consulting company. He has a Ph.D., and Master’s degree in Computer Science focused on distributed systems.

Prof. Ehud Weinstein – Chairman
Prof. Ehud Weinstein is a renowned entrepreneur and an internationally recognized authority in the area of statistical signal processing. He was a co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Anobit (acq: Apple) and Libit (acq: TI), and an active investor in numerous successful technology startups in Israel. A senior professor at the school of electrical engineering, Tel-Aviv University, he is also an adjunct professor at the digital signal processing group, department of Electrical Engineering, MIT. A life fellow of IEEE, he has published numerous papers in the leading technical journals, has filed numerous patents, and has received numerous awards for his academic and industrial contributions.

We are looking to hire a Sales Engineer to serve as the lead technical sales evangelist and subject matter expert for all things ParallelM, as our product matures from proof of concept to deal phase. You will work hand in hand with Sales to drive sales through a consultative approach. A strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences will be critical to your success. You will encounter a wide variety of customer environments and you will be challenged day to day to learn new things.  This individual will play a fundamental role in the success of ParallelM, a venture backed startup
pioneering a new category, Machine Learning Operations Management (ML Ops), within the red-hot fields of AI/Machine Learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the ParallelM subject matter expert, the customer’s trusted advisor and Account Executives best friend
  • Demonstrate expertise of the ParallelM product and the markets we serve
  • Lead customers through the technical parts of the funnel – qualify POCs and gauge propensity to make these investments worthwhile for the company
  • Ask great questions and be a great listener – communication is critical
  • Own the technical aspects of RFP responses
  • Host pre-sales technical implementation calls with prospects, including C-level executives
  • Confidently deliver full product demonstrations of ParallelM’s MLOps product suite
  • Document implementation considerations and create solution design documents to provide to post-sales engineering
  • Guide clients’ best practices for testing, deployment, and integration
  • Oversee implementation to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for customers
  • Maintain accurate and timely information in a CRM system

 

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or other relevant subject

Work Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Sales/Solutions Engineer, preferably in a start-up environment

 

Skills:

  • Proven success as a Sales Engineer, in a hands-on customer facing technical role
  • A quick learner proficient in using technology and sales tools, that embraces working in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment
  • Highly effective communicator; excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Takes ownership of time management and organization
  • Demonstrated experience gathering and understanding customer business requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in deeply understanding customer-side processes of evaluation and decision making
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning workflows, pipelines and engines, strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with common data center infrastructure and application delivery models
  • Comfortable deploying on premise and cloud based solutions, as well as experience with Linux, Python, Scala, and Java, preferred
  • Confident and skilled in navigating C-level conversations with technical and nontechnical individuals
  • Comfortable traveling as needed in support of sales activities, including customer meetings, trade shows, and ParallelM events

Position Summary

ParellelM is looking for an incredible, motivated, Sales Development Representative (SDR) to add to its growing sales and marketing organization.

You’ll perform a vital role within our sales team developing inbound and outbound leads – via demo requests, emails, and phone calls – into qualified opportunities for our account executives.
This is an ideal role for an articulate, determined, and customer-focused individual who is passionate about a career in sales and business development at a fast-growing startup.

In this role, you will be responsible for generating new opportunities, handling inbound sales inquiries, following up on marketing campaigns and collaborating with our sales team to build our pipeline. Key Responsibilities

Job Description:

The UI Design Engineer will work towards building a world-class user experience for PM customers. The ideal candidate should have an eye for creative design, possess latest and high-level UI skills. The UI engineer is expected to work closely with product management and architects in translating high-level requirements into intuitive and functional user interfaces. The engineer might also interface with customers and partners to help refine solutions based on their requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product planning and engineering to bring high-level ideas to life
  • Execute all stages from quick prototyping to full-cycle product development and unit, functional testing of the UI
  • Research about the latest available packages and resources to improve designs and features
  • Contribute actively towards product quality and drive customer focus
  • Engage occasionally with customers to present key milestones and demos

Qualification and Skills Required:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction or related
  • Proven UI experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing in JavaScript (Ember.js, Angula.js, React, etc)
  • Experience with Node.js is a plus
  • 3+ years of practical experience in HTML, CSS for rapid prototyping
  • Up-to-date with latest UI trends, techniques and technologies
  • Strong debugging and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication skills; self-driven and able to work in a small team.
